Template
The templates teach me how to make products, but do I need any prior knowledge of textiles or design to use them?
No prior knowledge is required to use the templates. Any beginner can easily use the templates. They are designed in order of complexity, some designs are simple while others require mastery of basic skills. These basic skills can be gained by working with our simpler templates.

Are the templates digital documents, or is there hands-on learning involved?
Templates are available in the form of printable pdf’s. They can be printed out on A4 paper , which is recommended. Each template pdf contains actual size product patterns which are to be cut out. For this approach we only provide the template pdf. In case you are interested in hands-on learning you can opt for our template + consultation.

How specific are they — are they for particular product types, or general enough for me to apply to anything?
The templates are specific to a product. Each product , eg- a lamp , has it’s own template. The skills learned from one template can be applied across all templates. One template can be combined with another template based on the skill level of the person.

Can I modify the template, or do I have to follow it exactly?
The templates are basic instructions on how to create a product which can be disassembled and recycled at the end of their life. While you can modify the template to your needs, special care needs to be taken to follow principles of disassembly and recycling.

What is the range of product portfolio in the templates ?
The primary range of the existing portfolio comprises a wide variety of 100+ products ranging from home furnishing to accessories and more.
Depending on the research and case studies done under our TRF facility, we have found the best use cases for each category of post consumer fabrics which are then converted into products and templatised for wider reach and use.

How do I pick the templates ?
We will ask you to present your company portfolio or share details about the new venture or plan you are developing. Based on this, we will provide you with four product portfolio options.
The digital process will not be entirely digital but will have limited access to assistance to the subscriber.

Small brands may find hiring interns on a monthly basis more cost-effective; however, interns often lack the maturity and depth required for high-quality content creation. The content we provide is thoroughly researched and tested, allowing you to use it confidently without going through multiple rounds of trial and error.
